![]() She's a freaking alcoholic! I don't know how many times Angela has a bit too much to drink, and naturally, regretted it the next day while nursing a massive hang over.Īm excited to read the next book! Angela and Alex are very much in love, and I look forward to reading more about them! while still being a klutz, making foolish decisions, etc. But then again, none of are perfect, so maybe this is a positive part of the book? That someone can still be pretty, sexy, loveable, etc. I have a hard time believing the characters when they describe her as being beautiful. If I saw my boyfriend heading out of a bar with his ex-girlfriend, I would certainly follow them out OR have a seriously discussion about it later. Introducing Alex's band mates to the reader more. The drama of ex girlfriends being drawn into the mix made for an interesting plot. They are obviously crazy over one another. The progression of Angela and Alex's romance. ![]() I got completely caught up in Angela describing how beautiful Paris is, and it has made me want to go there even more. ![]() Probably has something to do with the fact that I'd love to travel to Paris someday. This is my favorite book in the series so far! ![]()

The novel side of the series, shifted toward the feminine, political and gentle, is sometimes overbearing, but the adventure ultimately gritty and satisfying enough. Summary: The return of our heroine with a much bigger challenge – a demonic vampire (or is it vampiric demon?), intent on raising hell and casualty figures. ![]() ![]() Still, a lot of Bulgaria's Roman past has survived and is now ready for exploration: theatres and public baths, stadiums and mansions, statues and fine mosaics, basilicas and painted tombs, modern museums and overgrown ruins.
